The federal government of Nigeria alongside President Mohammadu Buhari have finally uplifted the Twitter ban after several months of its prohibition.
Earlier last year, the federal government banned Twitter operations from the Nigerian Internet space for deleting President Mohammadu Buhari‘s alleged violent tweet.
This trended via all the social media platforms to an extent that Federal Government outlined their penalty which they likely didn’t compromise.
This time they have officially announced the uplift of the ban giving out notable conditions that users should abide by.
Nigerians, however, are furious with the decision as they believe it’s not necessary to uplift the ban so far they were accessible to the microblogging platform even at its ban in the Nigerian internet space.
